The Young Grizzlys Wolfsburg Rely on My Ice Hockey: New Head of Coaches Marcel Habisreutinger Drives Professionalization Forward

Wolfsburg / Allgäu – The Young Grizzlys Wolfsburg are reinforcing their role as one of the most important ice hockey training centers in northern Germany: By hiring the experienced expert Marcel Habisreutinger, the club is one of the first in the country to fill the newly created position of “Head of Coaches.” To ensure the sustainability of their youth development programs, the Lower Saxony-based club is now relying on the digital platform My Ice Hockey.
As an active participant in the demanding DEB Star Program, the Young Grizzlys are consistently advancing the professionalization of their youth organization. A central component of this effort is the strategic leadership role played by Marcel Habisreutinger. As one of the first “Head of Coaches” in German ice hockey, he is responsible for the athletic guidelines and the continuous development of the entire coaching staff, from the skater school through the youth divisions.
