U20-Elit: Start of the playoffs
Yesterday, the highest Swiss junior league – the U20-Elit – started the playoffs.

Last year’s champions and qualifying winners EV Zug continued their dominance this season as well, finishing top of the table with 106 points from 48 games. Behind them, with just one point separating them, are EHC Biel-Bienne Spirit (93 points) and HC Davos (92), followed by HC Lugano (83).

The playoff pairings, which will be played in a best-of-5 format, are as follows:

EV Zug – HC Fribourg-Gottéron Young Dragons
EHC Biel-Bienne Spirit – Genève Futur Hockey
HC Davos – LHC Academy
HC Lugano – GCK Lions
