ÖEHV and My Ice Hockey digitalize the youth sector

With its partnership with My Ice Hockey, the Austrian Ice Hockey Association is taking the next important step in terms of digitalization and professionalization in the domestic youth sector. The coach/player software from My Ice Hockey will specifically standardize player evaluation within the selection teams from U14 to U20 and thus provide all coaches with important information. The system will also be used for all women’s junior national teams, the women’s A-national team and the Para-national team.
The app-based application captures interviews, evaluations, test results, statistics and much more, which can be output as player dossiers. Players are evaluated according to standardized criteria, which creates an improved overview and supports the national team coaches in their daily work.
The tool will be used in all men’s junior national teams, from U14 to U20. My Ice Hockey will be implemented step by step until the summer. From summer 2023, the IT system of the new ÖEHV partner will be used exclusively.

For our national team coaches, this digitalization step means an enrichment and a relief in their daily work.”
